✨ The Story Behind Define Creative Studio ✨
Over 14 years ago, Tere Cota began her creative journey with a backpack full of ideas, one foot in Tijuana and the other crossing the border into San Diego. Even before finishing her Graphic Design degree at Universidad Iberoamericana, she was already creating design and photography for clients such as Princess Tea Party Glamour, soprano Mónica Abrego (for whom she designed and photographed her discography), Hoteles Lucerna, Hotel Quartz, Horchatería Río Luna, Red Binacional de Corazones, Magic Shine CarWash, Transportes El Tule, and many others.
The project transformed when, during her Master’s in Strategic Digital Graphic Design at Ibero University, she met her best friend, Anneth. Together, they decided to shape something bigger: Define Creative Studio.
Why “Define”?
Because it’s a word that speaks in two languages and perfectly describes what we do: giving clear and powerful form to the creative ideas of exceptional people and brands.
This journey expanded with the addition of brilliant minds, including an architect. Together, we built our first physical office—a creative, retro-inspired space that truly blends art, design, architecture, and a powerful drive to create. Our talented architect has also been instrumental in extending branding concepts into real-world spaces, spanning the gastronomic, medical, and business sectors.
Today, we are a creative team of 10 people, women-led, bilingual, and multidisciplinary, passionate about making brands grow with purpose, style, and strategy. Because for us, creating isn’t just a job—it’s a way to connect and transform.
