Home ✨ The Story Behind Define Creative Studio ✨ Over 14 years ago, Tere Cota began her creative journey with a backpack full of ideas, one foot in Tijuana and the other crossing the border into San Diego. Even before finishing her Graphic Design degree at Universidad Iberoamericana, she was already creating design and photography for clients such as Princess Tea Party Glamour, soprano Mónica Abrego (for whom she designed and photographed her discography), Hoteles Lucerna, Hotel Quartz, Horchatería Río Luna, Red Binacional de Corazones, Magic Shine CarWash, Transportes El Tule, and many others.The project transformed when, during her Master’s in Strategic Digital Graphic Design at Ibero University, she met her best friend, Anneth. Together, they decided to shape something bigger: Define Creative Studio.Why “Define”?Because it’s a word that speaks in two languages and perfectly describes what we do: giving clear and powerful form to the creative ideas of exceptional people and brands.This journey expanded with the addition of brilliant minds, including an architect. Together, we built our first physical office—a creative, retro-inspired space that truly blends art, design, architecture, and a powerful drive to create. Our talented architect has also been instrumental in extending branding concepts into real-world spaces, spanning the gastronomic, medical, and business sectors.Today, we are a creative team of 10 people, women-led, bilingual, and multidisciplinary, passionate about making brands grow with purpose, style, and strategy. Because for us, creating isn’t just a job—it’s a way to connect and transform. At Define Creative Studio we design brands that connect and sell. Inicio ✨ La historia detrás de Define Creative Studio ✨ Hace más de 14 años, Tere Cota comenzó su viaje creativo con una mochila llena de ideas, un pie en Tijuana y el otro cruzando la frontera hacia San Diego. Antes de terminar la carrera en Diseño Gráfico en la Universidad Iberoamericana, ya estaba creando diseño y fotografía para clientes como Princess Tea Party Glamour, la soprano Mónica Abrego para quien diseñó y fotografió su discografía, Hoteles Lucerna, Hotel Quartz, Horchatería Río Luna, Red Binacional de Corazones, Magic Shine CarWash, Transportes El Tule y muchos más. El proyecto se transformó cuando, durante la maestría en Diseño Gráfico Estratégico Digital en la Ibero, conoció a su mejor amiga, Anneth. Juntas, decidieron dar forma a algo más grande: Define Creative Studio. ¿Por qué “Define”? Porque es una palabra que habla en dos idiomas y describe justo lo que hacemos: darle forma clara y poderosa a las ideas creativas de personas y marcas excepcionales. A este viaje se sumaron grandes mentes, entre ellas una arquitecta, con quien construimos nuestra primera oficina física un espacio creativo y con un toque retro que mezcla arte, diseño, arquitectura y muchas ganas de crear. Nuestra gran arquitectca también ha sido clave para transformar conceptos de branding en espacios reales, desde la gastronomía hasta el sector médico y empresarial. Hoy, somos un equipo creativo de 10 personas, liderado por mujeres, bilingüe y multidisciplinario, apasionado por hacer que las marcas crezcan con propósito, estilo y estrategia. Porque para nosotros, crear no es solo un trabajo, es una manera de conectar y transformar. En Define Creative Studio diseñamos marcas que conectan y venden, a través de branding, contenido visual y estrategia digital para negocios listos para crecer.
